Billing and cancellation
Effective September 20, 2026
Quotes and invoices
Every HALO subscription starts with a written quote. Once you accept it, we send an invoice by email for the first billing period, then for each period after that. Invoices are payable by ACH bank debit or card within the terms stated on the invoice, typically net 30.
How payments are processed
Invoices are issued and paid through Stripe, Inc. Each invoice email links to a secure payment page hosted by Stripe, where you enter your card or bank account details. Those details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers, security codes, or bank account numbers. To pay by ACH debit, you authorize the debit on that page, and you can revoke the authorization by contacting us. For copies of invoices or receipts, email billing@orrerysystems.app.
When you are charged
You are charged only when you pay an invoice. If you set up automatic ACH debit, the payment is drawn on or after the invoice due date. Annual subscriptions are invoiced at the start of each year; monthly subscriptions at the start of each month.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by emailing billing@orrerysystems.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then. No further invoices are issued after cancellation.
Refunds
Fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded for a partial period. If you are billed in error or charged twice, contact us and we will refund the incorrect amount in full. If we end your service for reasons other than your breach of our terms, we refund any prepaid fees for the unused portion of the period.
Late payments
If an invoice is more than 30 days past due, we will contact you before taking any action. We may pause access after written notice if the balance remains unpaid.
Questions or disputes
If something on an invoice looks wrong, email us before disputing the charge with your bank. We respond within one business day and will correct billing errors promptly.
